It's always fun going out and shooting these days, I like to see what my eye can capture and share it with friends, family and the Internet. Today I went out with Jeremy, Alan and Brayden, these guys all know a significant more than me so I am always listening for tips and checking out their gear. We intended to shoot around the exhibition grounds but ended up at the new Circle Drive bridge and Diefenbaker Park. For the first time, I played with my manual focus and Alan's 35mm Sigma lens. Check out some of the shots I took, hopefully they are progressively getting better.

#24 | Midnight Marauders w/ The Liminal State
Last night I roamed downtown late at night with The Liminal State taking photos of his good friend Simon, parking lots and other things we came across downtown. I'm personally not a huge fan of shooting at night because all I am capable of using is natural light but thankfully I could edit to save some of my photos. Here are all of the photos that were worth posting!

#07 | Sutherland Train Tracks w/ The Liminal State

Yesterday The Liminal State and I went to shoot the train tracks and surrounding area in Sutherland. To say the least, I was unprepared for the cold weather and the marshy area to get to our destined shooting grounds. I gained new wounds and soaked clothing that allowed me to spend no longer than 40 minutes outside.
This was actually my first time shooting any sort of landscape photos as well, so thankfully being with The Liminal State only helped me. The area was cool because of the graffiti, the tracks and the well suited cloudy sky. After all of the minor difficulties, I can say that I enjoyed it and will continue to shoot more photos like these ones.

#04 | The Liminal State
My homie Brayden has recently dove deeper into his hobby of photography and began printing and selling his original works. I would say that he has a knack for capturing landscapes and has been doing his thing both here in Saskatoon and in various parts of California. I believe he currently shoots with a Nikon D5100 and is titling all of his work as The Liminal State. The Liminal State is that in-between/middle state or stage. In terms of photography I treat the liminal state as an experience, these photos that we see online or in print form are the pieces between the camera lens and what the human eye sees at the time of the photo.
After going through his Flickr and Instagram accounts I knew I had to buy a couple of prints. I purchased with the Salk Institute and Windansea Beach in solid black frames.
If you are interested in purchasing any pieces you can grab them from Society6, Redbubble or Zazzle.
